Health and Safety Guidelines

Due to the current covid 19 pandemic we have implemented certain studio protocols to minimize risk. Between classes all high touch areas and hand tools are disinfected. Mouthpieces and safety glasses are sanitized between every use.

Our studio is extremely well ventilated so it is as if you are in an outdoor windy space which helps mitigate risk. However, we ask all visitors who are currently experiencing symptoms or those with recent exposure to please stay home and follow current CDC guidelines.

What to Wear

Wear natural fibers. Long sleeves and blue jeans are recommended to protect your skin from the heat. Do not wear bulky, loose or heavy clothing.
Wear closed-toe shoes. Do not wear open-toed shoes or heels, or sandals . You will be standing most of the time so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
PROTECT YOUR EYES. You will receive one pair of safety glasses as part of the workshop and you will be required to WEAR THEM AT ALL TIMES. UV rated protective glasses will be provided during all workshops where they are required.
TIE BACK LONG HAIR. If it hangs forward or covers eyes. (Bring a hair elastic, headband, bandana, etc.)
NO HEAVY-HANGING, METAL JEWELRY. IT HEATS UP. FAST. especially watches or bracelets on your wrists.

What to Bring

Bring your own refillable water bottle. Be sure to stay hydrated — Drink lots of water prior to your participation. Snacks are highly recommended. Bring your own lunch/dinner for long classes and shop rental times. Other useful items: flannel (to protect from heat), bandana.
Alcohol is prohibited if you are enrolled in a class or are using any of the equipment.
Panama City Hot Glass is a drug-free facility. Smoking tobacco is reserved for designated smoking areas only. Miscellaneous
You may take pictures with permission of the instructor. Please review and sign our “Photo/Video Release” form (Please notify us if we cannot use your image for marketing & web site purposes). Do not blow in our pipes if you are sick or think you may be sick. EVERYONE must fill out a questionnaire, sign a waiver/release before working in the studio. (Parents/Guardians of students under 18 must fill out the “Waiver & Release Agreement (Minor Child)” instead of the “Waiver & Release Agreement”) Anyone under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult, parent or legal guardian must sign and submit the “Waiver & Release Agreement (Minor Child)” granting approval.
